In a loving world a child is enfolded & nurtured by its mother & she by hers. “Grand Mothers’ Love” is a tribute to the “grandness” of  love that keeps us safe & gives us a sense of place, a connection with our ancestors & hope for the future of our children. Many Native American cultures are matrilineal & all have a great respect for Mother Earth, the giver of all life. Grandmother symbolizes the strength & will to survive, the need to build a future that is secure. Grand Mother, Mother and Child are connected, symbolizing the  importance of  life, love & continuity.

Where would we be without Mother Earth?

Where would we be without our mothers?

Where would we go without our children?

Indeed, a Mother’s Love is the grandest

thing of all.
